Summer 2026 Events on the Front Range You Won't Want to Miss
One of the best things about living on the North Denver Front Range is the community events. Here's what's on the calendar for summer 2026.
Erie Town Fair & Balloon Festival — May & June
Erie's signature event draws thousands for hot air balloon launches at dawn, live music, a car show, and a pancake breakfast. The kids' zone and craft vendors make it a full-day affair. If you've never watched balloons rise over the Flatirons at sunrise, put this on your list.
Lafayette Peach Festival — August
A beloved tradition celebrating Colorado's Western Slope peaches. Expect peach cobbler, peach ice cream, live music, and a 5K run. Old Town Lafayette comes alive with vendors and community spirit.
Louisville Downtown Street Faire — August
Louisville's historic Main Street closes to traffic for an afternoon of local artisans, food trucks, and live entertainment. It's the perfect way to experience why Louisville keeps winning "Best Place to Live" awards.
Longmont Rhythm on the River — Fridays, June–August
Free outdoor concerts along the St. Vrain Greenway. Bring a blanket, grab dinner from a food truck, and enjoy everything from bluegrass to rock. This is one of the Front Range's best-kept secrets.
Broomfield Days — September
A community celebration with a parade, carnival rides, live music, and fireworks. Broomfield's version of a hometown fair, and a great way to close out summer.
Why this matters for real estate
I always tell my relocation clients: the best way to pick a neighborhood is to experience it. Attend a few events, walk the downtown, eat at the local spots. That's how you find home — not just a house.
Want to explore these communities in person? I'd love to show you around.
